Don't ask about exploits

Security related questions are allowed, as long as they are directly related to protection of your Linux machine from being cracked. We will not provide exploits, and you will be kicked if you ask for these, or for so called ``nukes''.

Under no circumstances will we honor requests to use an exploit on a machine, whether it be your own machine or someone else's. You will be kicked if you explicitly ask us to ``nuke'' or ``root'' someone else's machine. If you ask us to ``nuke'' or even ``root'' (this would be a very stupid idea) your own machine, we will simply ignore that request for the simple reason that there is no way we can determine that the machine in question is really your own, and we don't like to be sued by a company that lost thousands of dollars due to their server being useless for some period of time.

If you use an exploit or nuke on any person present on IRC, you will be kicked and banned for a considerable amount of time. We will even go as far as informing your ISP of your actions. You have been warned.

In addition, many ops will kick for being in a channel that looks like it might be a cracker/''hacker''/phreaker channel.
